The online professional seminar organized by the EMDR Serbia association will be held in English without translation. The seminar can be attended by EMDR psychotherapists (completion of EMDR Level 1 is sufficient for participation). The professional seminar will be led by Deany Laliotis, EMDR trainer, supervisor and therapist specialized in imparting knowledge of EMDR therapy as a comprehensive approach, with a focus on work on developmental and attachment trauma. Deany was the director of the Francine Shapiro Institute for many years, responsible for the education of therapists in the USA, where she worked closely with the author of the approach, Francine Shapiro, during the evolution of EMDR from an intervention to a comprehensive psychotherapy approach. Deany was awarded the 2015 Francine Shapiro Award for Distinguished Service and Clinical Excellence by the International EMDR Association.
